Private Custom Tours are offered for those who wish to tailor the Three-Hour General Admission Farm Tour to better address their needs and interests. Upon advance reservation, we discuss with you specifically which venues you would like to visit, the length of your tour (for up to 3 hours), and how to best accommodate your guests.
We have hosted tours for scouting troops, senior citizens groups, special education and needs groups, photography clubs, kayaking clubs, children’s birthday parties, “Ladies Night Out” events, as well as families and friends who simply want to design their own private tours. We offer options for you to bring your own picnic to break up the tour or have a private kayak/small craft launch from our dock.
Although the majority of our Private Custom Tours are conducted on our heated/air-conditioned buses, we offer the option of a tractor-pulled hayride during the fall months to add a bit of seasonal excitement to the excursion (maximum 15 participants). For adventurous groups of three or less, we can escort you around the farm in a gator to give you a firsthand experience of how we travel the farm during the day. In those instances where our guests prefer to remain on their own buses to facilitate wheelchairs and other special needs or preferences, our tour guides are picked up and returned to the Fox Wire Farm Store & Boutique.
A Private Custom Tour can be reserved with a non-refundable $100 deposit paid in advance of the selected tour date. Once the deposit is received, your tour date and time is confirmed. Participation is limited to 27 individuals. An additional $15/person is charged on the day of the tour. Cash or check is preferred payment. We can accept all major credit cards; however, a $0.50 convenience fee is applied per person to cover credit and debit card merchant fees.
